You Break the Chains
You Break the Chains
written by Bill Osborne
When I’m drowning, You lift me up,
In the desert, You fill my cup,
When the night is long, You are my song,
You’re the hope that keeps me strong.
And when I stumble, when I fall,
You’re the One who hears my call,
In my weakness, You are strong,
You carry me when the road is long.
You break the chains, You set me free,
You’re the One who fights for me,
In Your arms, I find my peace,
My Savior, my King, my Victory.
In the shadows deep, You light the way,
When I’m weary, You give me strength to stay,
Through the trials, You stand with me,
You’re the hope that sets my spirit free.
And when I stumble, when I fall,
You’re the One who hears my call,
In my weakness, You are strong,
You carry me when the road is long.
You break the chains, You set me free,
You’re the One who fights for me,
In Your arms, I find my peace,
My Savior, my King, my Victory.
No power of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from Your hand,
You’re my fortress, You’re my song,
In Your love, I will stand strong.
You break the chains, You set me free,
You’re the One who fights for me,
In Your arms, I find my peace,
My Savior, my King, my Victory.
My Savior, my King, my Victory,
In Your love, I’ve been redeemed.
