Coming Home
Coming Home
written by Bill Osborne
I’ve been walking this road so long,
Searching for a place to belong,
The person I became
Wasn’t who I thought I’d be.
Broken dreams and shattered pride,
Tried to run, tried to hide,
But in the silence, You called out,
And I knew I was finally found.
And now I’m coming home,
To the place I’m meant to be.
In Your arms, I find my peace,
And all my fears are gone.
It feels like I’m alive again,
Breathing in Your love, so strong.
I’m coming home,
Oh Lord, I’m coming home.
I’ve wandered far, I’ve drifted wide,
Lost in the night, no hope in sight.
But You lit a fire in my soul,
And now I’m not alone.
Your grace has brought me back to life,
Restored my heart, removed the strife,
And now I stand before Your throne,
With a love I’ve never known.
And now I’m coming home,
To the place I’m meant to be.
In Your arms, I find my peace,
And all my fears are gone.
It feels like I’m alive again,
Breathing in Your love, so strong.
I’m coming home,
Oh Lord, I’m coming home.
I was lost but now I’m found,
On solid ground, I’m standing now.
Your love, it brought me through the night,
Into the dawn of a brand new life.
I was searching all along,
But You were there, my guiding song.
Now I’m where I’m meant to be,
In Your love, I’m finally free.
And now I’m coming home,
To the place I’m meant to be.
In Your arms, I find my peace,
And all my fears are gone.
It feels like I’m alive again,
Breathing in Your love, so strong.
I’m coming home,
Oh Lord, I’m coming home.
Yeah, I’m coming home,
To the place I’m meant to be.
In Your love, I’m alive again,
Lord, I’m coming home.
I’m coming home…
I’m coming home.
