Can you stand for God, when you’re all alone,
With your heart at peace and your soul secure?
With the rock beneath, and the throne in sight,
Can you stand, can you still endure?

When the world is crashing down,
And your spirit feels so weak,
Will you hold on to the ground,
Where His strength is what you seek?

Will you stand for Christ alone?
Through the storm, through the fight,
Till you reach that heavenly throne.

And your soul is drowned in tears of pain?

Through the endless toil and strain?
